When can I shoot at the range?
Members are provided an
access card which allows shooting at their convenience. The range
is closed to shooting during certain maintenance, board
meetings, and other times where safety of participants may
require the range to be closed.
Non-members may shoot on public nights. See Public Nights page for full details.
How much does it cost to shoot at PMS?
Effective February 1st, 2020, members do not pay an addition fee for normal shooting.
Adult guests pay $10, children $4 See Membership for full details.
How much does does it cost to be a member?
Annual membership dues are $100 for adults and $90 for senior (60+)
Annual dues are prorated by month. New members pay an initial $60 admin fee. See Membership for full details.
When can I join?
New member night is usually held on the first Monday of each month.
When the first Monday of the month falls on a holiday, Tuesday will be used. Membership applications are accepted from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. See Membership for full details.
What guns can I shoot at the range?
The range is primarily set up as a pistol range. The lane
length and backstop cannot safely support long rifles or
high powered/large caliber pistols.

Do I really need to attend the Free Gun Safety Class?
Yes. All new members are required to attend the Free Gun Safety Class.
There are no exceptions. If you are a member of law enforcement,
active or retired military you still must take the class. If you
have recently taken an NRA class, are a certified instructor,
or are a current concealed handgun permit holder you still
must take the class.
The class presents basic handgun safety, operation, and care. The class also reviews both general safety rules as well as the rules specific to PMS.
Are the Board meetings open to the membership?
Yes. The membership is welcome and encouraged to attend the
monthly board meetings. Board meetings are held the second
Monday of the month from 7 PM to 9 PM at the range.
Does the range offer any classes?
Aside from the Free Gun Safety Class, the range does
offer classes to membership and the public on a periodic
basis. See the Training page for
more details.
The range also has a roster of instructors who have privileges to conduct classes at the range. Each instructor offers their own classes, programs, schedules, and pricing. Contact an instructor if you would like to schedule additional training.
